About the Finance Committee
The Finance Committee operates as the fiscal conscience of the board, diligently reviewing budgetary aspects and other significant financial matters. With a focus on financial planning and monitoring, our committee plays an essential role in ensuring a stable and prosperous environment. Comprising board members and civic-minded volunteers like yourself, the Finance Committee works to provide insights and recommendations that contribute to our community's financial health.
Responsibilities of Committee Volunteers:
As a volunteer, your role within the committee will include:
✅ Reviewing budgetary aspects and developing strategies to address them.
✅ Collaborating closely with local officials to secure resources.
✅ Providing insights into financial planning and monitoring.
✅ Evaluating and contributing to the improvement of fiscal transparency and accountability.
✅ Building trust between the community and the Bear Valley CSD.

Committee meetings convene once every even-numbered month (six times yearly), and volunteers commit to a two-year term. This allows you to engage actively in vital community matters while maintaining a balanced time commitment.
