🎉 We are thrilled to welcome Paul Ricchiazzi to our Bear Valley Police Department family! 🎉

Paul was officially sworn in this morning, and with his arrival, we are now fully staffed and ready to serve our wonderful community.

Paul brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having previously served as an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. During his time there, he gained valuable insights across various assignments, including Patrol, Major Events Planning, Command Post, Emergency Operations, Risk Management, and Commercial Crimes.

His commitment to excellence is evident through his accomplishments, including earning the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Master Instructor Certification. He's also a proud recipient of a Project Management Certificate from CalTech and a Strategic and Risk Management Certificate from Stanford.

Paul's dedication to education is remarkable. He played a pivotal role in creating the curriculum for the Data Integrity Unit and Police Science & Leadership programs, contributing to the growth and development of future law enforcement leaders.
