Candidate Statement

The following is the letter of interest submitted by this candidate. These letters are used by the Board of Directors to determine which applicants are best qualified for the desired committee.

My name is Herb Martindale and I am a resident of Bear Valley Springs. I am interested in volunteering to participate in the Bear Valley Springs Infrastructure Committee. I retired from Los Angeles County Waterworks District in March of 2013 after 41 years of service, 34 of which were in the Water Department. I held the positions of Water Service Helper I, Water Service Helper II, Water Service Worker, Senior Water Service Worker, Water Construction Inspector, Water Service Supervisor, and retired as Regional Water Service Superintendent. I have experience in water service, facility construction, billing, and water system management.

I am willing to help and support the Infrastructure Committee with the challenges we face in the future.
