 2017/18 ENTRY GATE WINDSHIELD DECALS

In order to maintain the security of our community and limit unauthorized entry through the entry gate, effective February 1, 2017, property owners and authorized residents will be required to display the updated BVCSD 2017/18 decals upon their vehicles. Windshield decals will continue to be necessary until completion of the Entry Area Improvement Project, which includes a new gate. Affected community members shall adhere to the following:

1. Complete an “ENTRY GATE VEHICLE DECAL REQUEST FORM”

Forms are available at the front counters of both the Bear Valley Police Department and the District Administration Office, and on the District website above. Please print two-sided if possible.

2. Documentation Required

  • Current and valid California driver’s license displaying a BVS address

OR

  • Current utility bill displaying a BVS address & government-issued photo ID

  • Current Property Deed or Title & government-issued photo ID

  • Current Rental Agreement (Lease) for a property within Bear Valley & government-issued photo ID

BVSA Amenity Use Privilege Cards are NOT an acceptable form of identification for issuance of gate decals.

3. Current Vehicle Registration Required

Current vehicle registration for ALL vehicles listed on the form must match address information provided and be presented for examination. Newly purchased vehicles will be issued a gate decal after review of the sales/registration paperwork provided by the dealer and/or DMV.

4. NEW! A validation sticker is required to use your BVSA Amenity Card for gate entry

You must complete the attached form, provide the required forms of identification, and present your Amenity Card to District personnel, who will affix the required sticker at the time you pick up your decals. Validation stickers will also be available at the Bear Valley Springs Association (BVSA) office beginning January 3, 2017.

New entry gate decals will be available beginning January 3, 2017 through January 31, 2017 at the Bear Valley Police Department front counter. Additional staff and the Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) will be available at various times during January to expedite the process. Hours will be posted on the District website, www.bvcsd.com, when available. Contact the Bear Valley Police Department at 661-821-3239 for additional information.
